The Democratic Party have gotten themselves into a fix.

All the primary votes were for Joe Biden. With his dropout from the race, no vote the Democrats have cast in this election will mean anything.

So how will they get a candidate? And when?

August 7th. That's when the Party needs to provide a candidate to the state of Ohio to appear on the ballot. If they miss that deadline, they won't have a candidate, and will need to rely on write-in votes, a sure way to lose an election.

And what's worse, they won't meet to find a candidate until August 22 - August 27, weeks after the deadline. So who will decide, and how? 

There are over 7000 delegates to the party who are free to vote for whomever they like, as they were previously pledged to Biden. They have two ballots in a "virtual convention" to select a majority for one candidate. They get two tries to get a majority candidate. After that it falls to 700 party elite to choose a candidate. 

And here's the irony: no democratic party member has had any say in the process. The Democrats are entirely un-democratic this year. No member will vote for their candidate. It's all left to the king-makers. The insiders. The elite. It's hilarious that the party most offended by what they say is Trumps attempt to subvert democracy is now going to subvert democracy THEMSELVES on a Party-wide wholesale level! Politics are wonderful.

They are this year the Un-democrats. And their candidate will be the King of the Un-democrats, selected by Party insiders, not by the voice of the people. Un-democracy.

It will be Kamala because of money. Biden has $240 Million and it all goes to Kamala if she's the King of Undemocracy, but if they select anyone else that money must be returned to the donors, many of whom won't donate it again. They'll select Kamala. She's dim-witted and easy to control, so the group controlling Biden, minus Jill, will stay in charge should Kamala win.

She won't win. America will never elect a King.

P.S. I would add an image of Kamala Harris as the American King but Microsoft Copilot AI has already blocked that. Yes, they are already thinking of her as their king and blocking any mention of it in image generation and searches. Cowards all. But here is how her White House might turn out:

UPDATE: On the July 24th the Democrats went further than I had thought they could: they made it so that no delegate to the convention could propose anyone other than Kamala Harris. I don't know who their kingmakers are, but they are really asserting their power. Not even the representatives of the populace are to have a say in the choice. Democrat, uber alles!
